If you have already installed recessed spotlights for standard lamps with a diameter of 51В mm, you can simply switch over to the super flat and energy-saving LED modules. The old lamp is removed, the RGBW coin connected with quick clips and you are ready to go! Depending on your mood, you can choose between daylight white, coloured light and various effects. A diode in white (W) additionally provides a cosy warm white light and makes it unnecessary to mix a white tone from the colours red, green and blue (RGB). The luminaire is Zigbee-compatible. Zigbee is a radio transmission protocol that links up the devices of several manufacturers. This allows not only the centralised control of lighting; shutters, heating and alarm systems, for example, can also be integrated. To operate the control, you can choose between the Smart Friends Box, a gateway for the same standard by a different manufacturer, or a Smart Home Zigbee hand-held transmitter. Individual components can be addressed, or switched on and off in groups as lighting scenarios.
